At GRDN Helper LLC ("we," "our," "us," or the "Company"), your privacy and security are fundamental to our mission of providing a trusted marketplace for lawn care, gardening, and hyper-local landscaping services. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, process, share, and safeguard your personal information when you download, install, access, or use the GRDN Helper Mobile Application (the "App"), our website, and related services (collectively, the "Platform").

Please read this document carefully. By creating an account, accessing the Platform, or using our services as either a Homeowner seeking services or an Independent Gig Contractor offering services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the data collection and processing practices outlined in this Policy.

1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

The types of personal information we collect depend on how you interact with our Platform and whether you register as a Homeowner or an Independent Gig Contractor ("Contractor"/" Service Provider").

A. Information You Provide Directly to Us

Account Infrastructure Data: First and last name, email address, mobile phone number, profile photo, and security passwords.
Property & Demographics (Homeowners): Service addresses, physical property descriptions, gate codes, access instructions, and specific lawn or landscaping preferences.
Professional & Identity Credentials (Contractors): Social Security Number (SSN) or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number (ITIN) for mandatory background screenings, date of birth, business name, professional licenses, and certifications.
Financial & Transactional Data: We use industry-standard, secure third-party payment gateways (such as Stripe) to process financial transactions. Homeowners may provide credit/debit card numbers or bank credentials in future releases for in App payments and purchases. Likewise, contractors provide banking routing and account numbers to enable direct deposit payouts or to enroll in the subscription model based access within the site. We do not store raw financial account numbers on our local servers.

B. Information Collected Automatically Via App Use

Precise Geo-Location Data:
- For Service Providers: We collect precise, continuous real-time location data while the App is running in the foreground or background during active service shifts, check-ins, and job completions to verify physical presence on site.
- For Homeowners: We collect precise location data when you open the App to search for nearby contractors or pinpoint your service address.
Communications Monitoring: Text messages, in-app call logs, and chat data generated when Homeowners and Contractors communicate via the App's built-in, masked communication network.
Device and Usage Metrology: IP address, device hardware model, operating system version, unique device identifiers, browser type, and software telemetry including application crash logs and touch-interaction maps.

2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We process personal data to fulfill core marketplace mechanisms, maintain regional network security, and comply with state legal frameworks during our phased geographic expansion.

Primary Operational Core Matrix

Identity & Credentials: Used for background screening execution via secure APIs and prevention of fraudulent registration or account sharing. (Basis: Performance of Contract; Legitimate Interest in safety)
Geo-Location Data: Real-time tracking of Contractors on properties, routing optimization, and automated "Arrived" or "Completed" notifications to homeowners. (Basis: Performance of Contract; Fraud prevention and verification)
In-App Communications: Used for mediation of billing disputes, service standard enforcement, and contractor behavioral analytics. (Basis: Legitimate Interest in platform integrity; Quality Assurance)
Payment / Bank Fields: currently we do not facilitate payments within the platform and would urge the parties to transact outside the system

To maintain structural safety on private residential premises, GRDN Helper LLC implements periodic automated biometric identity checkpoints. Contractors are required to submit real-time facial selfies matched algorithmically against government-issued credentials. This ensures account protection and prevents illegal account delegation.

3. INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE

We do not sell your personal data to brokers, advertising networks, or third-party data aggregators. Data sharing is limited strictly to facilitating the service marketplace:

Between Homeowners and Contractors: To execute services, we disclose the Homeowner's name, service address, property photographs, and structural notes to the assigned Contractor. Conversely, the Contractor's name, profile photo, verified background status tier, and dynamic real-time location are visible to the booking Homeowner.
To Vetting & Screening Vendors: Contractor background parameters (SSN, legal name) are securely routed to specialized consumer reporting bureaus (e.g., Checkr, Certn) via encrypted APIs to generate required background reports.
Legal and Municipal Compliance: We disclose information when mandated by state, local, or federal legal instruments, including court orders, local law enforcement warrants, or state tax authorities requiring 1099-K reporting data.

4. DATA SECURITY AND RETENTIONAL LIMITS

GRDN Helper LLC utilizes industry-standard physical, electronic, and administrative controls. Data in transit is secured via Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3) encryption, and structural databases utilize Advanced Encryption Standard (AES-256) wrappers at rest.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the operational cycles of your account, resolve platform disputes, maintain financial bookkeeping ledgers, or enforce safety limits. Upon account deletion requests, personal identities are anonymized or structurally purged within thirty (30) days, except where financial, legal, or pending litigation logs mandate structural holds.

5. STATE-SPECIFIC RIGHTS AND REGULATIONS

As a hyper-local platform executing a state-by-state geographic rollout, we actively comply with regional state consumer privacy statutes (including but not limited to the CCPA/CPRA in California, VCDPA in Virginia, and Texas TDPSA).

Right to Know and Access: You possess the absolute right to request an itemized digital report of all personal data categories GRDN Helper LLC currently holds regarding your identity.
Right to Deletion / Erasure: You can request that we permanently delete personal data collected from you, subject to operational exceptions (e.g., uncompleted jobs, active billing disputes, or state tax audit windows).
Right to Opt-Out of Automated Profiling: You have the right to challenge deactivations driven by automated algorithms. All contractor platform removal actions undergo mandatory secondary human review before finalization.

6. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Our Platform is strictly designed and intended for adults who are at least eighteen (18) years of age. We do not knowingly market to or collect personal information from individuals under the age of 18. If we discover that a minor has bypass-registered an account, it will be terminated immediately.

7. MODIFICATIONS TO THIS PRIVACY STATEMENT

We reserve the right to amend this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changing state-level compliance mandates, platform enhancements, or new service integrations. When updates occur, we will alter the "Effective Date" at the top of this statement and dispatch an immediate push notification or email update directly to all active app users. Continuous platform usage post-notification constitutes acceptance of revised terms.
